Y6 have been marking the 100 years since World War 1 ending in a number of different ways.

Last week we made poppies using a range of different resources – felt, cellophane, crepe paper, tissue paper, card etc. These will be made into wreaths and used to decorate various areas of the school.

The Friday closest to Armistice Day we have come off timetable to look in depth at World War 1 as well as reading famous war poems and creating our own blackout poems.
