As you are aware all Nursery children are entitled to 15 hours of free provision provided over 38 weeks (universal entitlement). Some children are also entitled to an additional 15 hours (extended entitlement). Please go to www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to check whether you are eligible to receive the 30 hours extended entitlement.

At Swalwell School we offer the following patterns of provision:

Universal entitlement: 9am-12pm, 5 mornings per week 

Extended entitlement: 9am until 3.30pm 5 days per week

From 1st December 2018, we will be offering parents/ carers who are not entitled to extended entitlement, the opportunity to purchase additional afternoon sessions at £10 per session. Sessions must be paid for in advance and are subject to availability.

If your child attends Nursery for a full day there will be the option of bringing a packed lunch or purchasing a school lunch for £1.40 per day.

Parent/ carers can opt to take advantage of additional Nursery sessions at any point throughout the academic year with advance notice given to the school office.

Remember, Nursery children can also take advantage of our free Breakfast Club, run every morning 8am till 9am for a nutrious healthy breakfast.
