Today Year 1 used their measuring they have been practising all week to make a curry. They followed the recipe to make a Chicken Tikka masala, including peeling and grating vegetables and adding spices. After the curry had cooked we all tasted the curry with rice and had poppadoms, naan bread, mango chutney, raita, onion bhajis and samosas. Our favourite was the naan bread and poppadoms. Next week we will be using what we have learnt to write menus for an Indian feast.
