On Monday, Year 5 had two visitors from the Anne Frank Trust. Our visitors were here to teach us about prejudice and how it can impact on how people feel and their self-esteem. We saw video clips which helped us think about: sexism, racism, homophobia, ageism and ableism. We thought about how people might act if they are being prejudiced and whether this is always their intention. We also thought about how people might feel if people are prejudiced towards them. We thoroughly enjoyed working with our visitors and they made us think a lot about our actions and how they make other people feel.
