As part of  the topic ‘Stone Age to the Iron Age’, children chose an aspect of Iron Age life to research further and used the TASC wheel to help structure their project. What to research and how to present the information was the responsibility of the individual. Some pupils  looked at  food eaten during the Iron Age, others studied the clothes they wore or the houses they lived in; as a class, the use of body paint and tattoos was explored. At a later stage the whole class enjoyed designing and making torcs.
