Year 1 children and staff had a fabulous time at Whitehouse Farm on Friday 20th May. Their visit to a real working farm enabled them to see cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry as well as pets and exotic species. The hands-on activities kept Y1 entertained for hours. Children were able to handle, feed and learn about a variety of animals and to ride around the farm on a tractor. In the sheds they touched and learned about reptiles and insects . The weather was kind to them too! Our thanks to Miss Thielmann for organising such a fun visit.
